Short Bio
Melinda McDaniel grew up in Florida, inspired by the visual overload of Walt Disney World and the endless light at the center of the state’s predictable weather. She received a BFA in Studio Art from Florida State University, and went on to receive an MFA in Photography from The Ohio State University. Melinda exhibits her work regularly throughout New York. Currently, Melinda's day job includes coordinating the ins and outs of the Art + Design Technology Center at the Sage College of Albany. She calls Troy, New York home where she lives with her husband Fernando Orellana and her dachshund, Pbo [pee-bo].
