LIN HUA Lin Hua is Professor of Tsinghua university, previous dean of studies of Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University. Assistant of dean and Academic committee director of Tsinghua University Continuing Education Iinstitute.He is graduate student teacher in digital art major of Tsinghua University, China Art Research Institute and Beijing Technology University. He is the only guy who award bookbinding design professional master degree, and he is the first guy award the PH.D in artistic design. Mr. Lin is one of the earliest professors who develops practicing and teaching of digital art design, using computer to designing page layout in 1987.He opened computer design layout course at Academy Art & Design of Tsinghua University in 1988.He has been teaching and practicing for 23 years since then. Mr.Lin also wrote lots of books, for instance, he wrote《Computer Graphics Art Design》in 1993,then《Computer Graphic Arts Design》, 《Computer Graphic Arts Design Science》 and lots digital art design series monographs were published by several different publishing companies. He also wrote ,edited and published 57 academic writings. While finishing busy teaching task in digital art, Mr. Lin pays attention and perseveres practice in book design field, and he also combines practice with teaching ,which improves effect about teaching and studying. Now He has designed, printed and published several hundred pieces of planar and three-dimensional design works, which has won numerous awards. His designed works and books in design work are gave as the present twice to foreign presidents. In recent years he presided over many the digital art education seminars in domestic, and participated in international and domestic digital art and design seminars, published papers and researches. Lin said he really loved digital art and design education and practice, and he might pay life time efforts and struggles for it.
