  • I just went to the bookstore, saw the ad for the first time - and bought a few copies of Art in America and Art Forum. I chose metal for this body of work to reflect the subject matter and content. there is the link to see the piecesin the show from my site. http://www.barbaranessim.com/2000s_ModelProject.html
    How are you using metal?
    All the Best,

  • Hi Karin,
Nice to hear from you. I'm working on painting, monoprints, e-l wire necklaces and keeping my health. I notice a SIGCHI conference this October 27th to 30th in Berkeley, CA, that I am tempted by. Have you been to any of those?
    best,
    Eleanor
  • Hi Karen - New Orleans was a good experience. Thanks for your kind words.
I am now trying to get back to my work
    With my best regards Roman
  • Hi,
This is so good to find old friends in the tech art world.
    best to you,

  • Hi Karen,

Thanks for your kind note. I am happy to be part of the SIGGRAPH Digital Arts Community. But I haven't been an active participant - I feel like I am losing touch with the new generation

Currently I am under a lot of pressure as my wife has been through a difficult time and requires 24 hour a day care. My work has slowed to a near halt but I hope to get back to a normal schedule soon.

I haven't had time to join in the new wave of social networking groups. Also I don't "text" or "twitter". I will be 80 this year and I wonder if I am losing touch with the new generation. It is all I can do to manage my daily mail...anyway, I am with you in spirit. My last project inclided an "Upsidedown Book" and an "Upsidedown Mural". See: http://www.upsidedownbook.com

I send my very best regards - Roman
