Zoran Poposki (MFA, PhD, ILPVAM, FRSA) is an award-winning transdisciplinary artist, curator, and art educator based in Hong Kong. Poposki explores cultural translation, liminality, identity, and public space through painting, drawing, photography, printmaking, performance, video, and publishing.
His work has been shown in 100 exhibitions, screenings and festivals worldwide, including: Art Basel Hong Kong, 30th Biennial of Graphic Arts Ljubljana, Institute of Contemporary Arts London, XIII Cairo Biennale, Xi'an Art Museum in China, Asia Contemporary Art Show, Museu da Vila Velha Portugal, The Danish National School of Performing Arts Copenhagen, National Museum of Montenegro, Sergey Kuryokhin Modern Art Center in St. Petersburg in Russia, City Art Museum Ljubljana, Museo de Arte de Ponce San Juan in Puerto Rico, National Gallery of Macedonia, Museum of Contemporary Art Skopje, Art Stays Festival of Contemporary Art Ptuj, University of Sharjah, SOHOinOttakring and Thyssen-Bornemisza 21 Art Contemporary Vienna, Centre for Chinese Contemporary Art in Manchester, etc. His public art projects have been presented on urban LED screens, video billboards, posters and billboards in NYC, Skopje, Dublin, Hong Kong, etc.
