Since the 90’s the screen has displaced my canvas. It has become the field for my art, and the results are imagined through a hybrid approach to working with media. My practice involves working with images on images and is driven by analog experiences with drawing and painting that have influenced my sensibilities and way of seeing. My practice involves experiments with digital and traditional media and processes. The beginning and ending points of my process are often connections between disparate concepts or ideas that end up revealing something new. I have over 30 years experience as a designer and over 20 years experience as a design educator in California. In 2018, I completed my MA in Fine Art Digital at Camberwell College of Art in London.
