Short Bio
Krista Faist is a virtual reality artist based in Columbus, Ohio. She has lived all over the United States and loves to travel and see the world. She holds a BFA in New Media from Penn State University and expects to graduate with her MFA in Visual Arts from Columbus College of Art & Design in 2022. Her background is in oil painting, computer science, and nonprofit development. She also creates intricate, colorful sculptures and encaustic paintings on plate glass as well as immersive video experiences. Her work explores childhood wonderment, sentimentality and liminal states of reality.

ACM SIGGRAPH DAC Description

Mission of the Digital Arts Community Committee

To foster year-round engagement and dialogue within the digital, electronic, computational and media arts. Facilitate dynamic scholarship and creative programming within the ACM SIGGRAPH organization. Promote collaboration between artists and the larger computer graphics and interactive techniques community.
