Edward Johnston is a new media artist and designer working in a variety of contexts involving 3D animation, interactive media, and digital fabrication. He received the 2009 Young Artist’s Program Grant Award from the D.C. Commission on the Arts & Humanities, partly funded by the National Endowment for the Arts. Johnston's creative work has been exhibited and screened in the United States, Europe and Australia. His work has been included in numerous publications including Olga Ast’s recent book Infinite Instances: Studies and Images of Time.
