Interactive Installations as performance

Information

Interactive Installations as performance

The motivation for taking interactive installations as a subject of discussion is an artistic responsibility and scholarly curiosity about the construction of theoretical discourse about interactive installations. My goal for this group is to identify a conceptual framework of interactive installations as performance.  If anyone in interested in this subject, please join and discuss together!

Are interactive installations simply an artistic expressive medium? Could it be a research topic?  Could we define more theoretical discourse for interactive installations? I want to focus the process of interactivity, not the results of interactivity in this discussion. What do you suggest for, discuss, or claim to interactive installations?
