Event Description

The Stamford Innovation Center in partnership with the Old Town Hall Museum invites you to submit photos, art and videos created with Smartphones or Tablets for our Spring ART Exhibit. This exhibit will provide a wonderful opportunity to showcase SmART ART in the newly renovated Old Town Hall Museum, which shares Stamford’s Old Town Hall with the Stamford Innovation Center. In addition, we will also offer seminars on creative ways to use mobile phones and tablets to create art, develop apps for consumers and businesses, and to increase productivity in general.

We are searching for creative and fascinating photos, art and videos created with Smartphones or Tablets. Images may not illustrate violence, nudity or any other subject matter that may be deemed inappropriate for displaying in a business environment.

Submit 3 ITEMS REQUIRED by April 30. Final selections will be made by May 19, and works must be delivered to the Old Town Hall Museum by May 27. Please take this timeline into consideration. Shortly after final selections are confirmed, we will communicate details on logistics, commission structure, and drop-off procedures.

1. Bio/Artist Statement including name, phone number, and web address.
2. Five jpg files of artwork. The file size should be ~ 150 dpi. The name of the jpgs should reflect the name of the artwork. All submitted works must be available, framed and installation ready.
3. A listing of the five works, including title, year created, medium, device brand, and insurance value.
