The exhibition, curated by Lisa Melandri, Deputy Director of the Santa Monica Museum of Art, features more than 60 members of Otis’ faculty. According to Melandri, the exhibition is like a “multifaceted fabric interwoven with markedly different aesthetic, theoretical, and functional threads.” Represented in the exhibition are painting, architecture, graphic design, fashion design, new media, printmaking, sculpture, animation, public art, poetry, artists’ books, ceramics, photography, music, and digital art.

Otis celebrates its faculty on the occasion of its 90th anniversary in 2008. During its 90-year history, Otis faculty members have taught and mentored generations of artists and designers to enrich our society and culture. Many of these alumni have launched seminal movements in contemporary art.
