Yongqin Zhang received the B.S. degree in electronics science and technology from Zhengzhou University, China, and the Ph.D. degree in communication and information systems from Wuhan University, China, in 2005 and 2010, respectively.
From 2011 to 2012, he was an Assistant Research Fellow with the Institute of Biomedical and Health Engineering, Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, China. From 2012 to 2014, he was a Post-Doctoral Researcher with the Institute of Computer Science and Technology, Peking University, China. From 2016 to 2018, he was a visisting scholar at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Now he is an associate professor with the School of Information Science and Technology, Northwest University, China. His research interests include deep learning, image processing and computer vision.
