Susie Rong Fu is a Chinese-American artist-engineer. She uses her multi dual identities in opposition and collaboration. She observes humanness on the extreme ends of the scale: finding intimacy in the collective, and uniformity within the self. She explores the subjective and objective through manufactured mirages and performances. She applies non-human automation to reflect and summarize what is human.
Susie was formally a worker in Silicon Valley. She uses her knowledge of technology and the tech world as a critical lens in her new media works.
