Leona embraces an interdisciplinary perspective to research and co-creation. The interdisciplinarity is evident in her academic trainings, with degrees in Psychology, Entrepreneurial Management, and Information Systems. It is also reflected in her research, highlighting the importance of designing digital technologies that place people at the center and support them in attaining their personal, social, and sustainability goals. She is an Assistant Professor in Information Systems and Innovation at the University of Liechtenstein.
Leona likes modern and contemporary arts. She also appreciates the artistic values in human creations, from the art of winemaking and culinary experience to world music and contemporary dance. She always welcomes the opportunity to learn something new and co-create with visionary people.
