Art-Science; Anyone feel limited by the CAF pass category?

My advised goal was to develop a demo reel studying CGI more than 10 years ago. 2012 will be my 7th conference. I seem to fit Siggraph better than trad. art or the science side of CG.

At first I was unglued by the long lines to Electronic Theater, but now I'm a fan, too.

Anyone feel limited by the CAF pass category? I miss the Art Gallery and Studio, and would welcome a full conference pass, but can't say I can appreciate most lectures. Who can argue with the Exhibition, but  you can collect so many pens!

Can we canvass to add Art Gallery and Studio to the CAF pass?

You can get the basic exhibition pass (very cheap) and see the Art Show and Studio. I have an extra pass if you are going.

Tnx!

I'll use that extra pass. My wife will attend later on a basic pass; now we can tour together.

I'm also thinking about the future. What do you say to suggesting we offer a CAF pass at the current price, then "Add Art Gallery, $10, Add Studio, $10, etc."

You configure your own schedule.

Has this been done before?

Jackie,

Is that extra pass paper or digital? Where can I meet you at Siggraph?

Hopefully I will arrive Sunday at the LA Convention Center before 5 pm to register. I know you will likely be at the DAC BOF meeting at this time, but where will it be?
