Virtual Reality (VR) is often used to describe a wide variety of applications commonly associated with immersive, highly visual, 3D environments. VR is practically used in the following major fields: architecture, manufacturing, entertainment, education & training, augmented reality, art and medicine. As VR technology gets cheaper and more commercial systems are developed we have seen a lot more virtual reality systems in our reality.
For the special issue of Computers and Graphics, we hereby solicit the submission of original application-oriented research papers that illustrate the new kinds of applications of VR technology. All papers should demonstrate a significant innovation in applying VR to new fields or existing fields with improvement.
