Event Description

The Japan Media Arts Festival is a comprehensive festival of Media Arts that honors outstanding works in the four divisions of Art, Entertainment, Animation, and Manga, as well as providing a platform for appreciation of Award-winning Works.

For the 18th Festival in 2015, entries will be accepted globally from July 7 to September 2 (18:00 JST). Works completed or released between September 13, 2013 and September 2, 2014 are eligible for entry. Entries are sought from professional, amateur, independent and commercial creators from across the globe.

Works must be completed or released between:
 
Friday, September 13, 2013 and Tuesday, September 2, 2014
 

  • Works completed, changed, renewed, presented or released during the above period are eligible for entry.

  • 
While an unlimited number of entries may be made, the same work may not be entered in multiple divisions.

Facilitate dynamic scholarship and creative programming within the ACM SIGGRAPH organization. Promote collaboration between artists and the larger computer graphics and interactive techniques community.
